"We have rented many houses, in many countries, over the years and have often been delighted by the experience. This, however, is the first time that we have been motivated to write a review. Our reason is quite simple: this house is so special that its praises simply need to be sung. In addition to a charming and discrete owner, this is a home - with every imaginable facility and equipment (even complimentary Nespresso!). Most important, though, is its soul: we have never slept so well, dined so peacefully and simply enjoyed being here. The explanation is rather obvious when you meet the owner and discover the thought, imagination and love which she has applied to creating this special dwelling. The calming spirit of her vision invades the mind and makes one feel relaxed and happy. On a practical note, the location is also perfect as a base to visit all LA's, and environs, sights. We have been blessed with perfect weather and now, sadly, leave - but invigorated by a tremendous ten days' stay and by memories which we will keep forever. (Or at least until we return - hopefully very soon!). Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for everything."

"We just got back from a four night stay here and I can't say enough good things about the Brentwood Artist Farmhouse. It is in a private and quiet location as described, very well appointed and cared for, and is full of interesting things to ponder. The time we spent there was extremely comfortable. Our bed had an elegant linen duvet cover over down, that was washed after each guest. The place had Zen touches and details too numerous to enumerate. Delphine was at our disposal, fastidious, and very lovely. At our request, she told us of the history of the house, and shared her ceramic work with us. We would definitely recommend this property to a friend, and hope to return ourselves."

"We've just had the most fantastic holiday at the Brentwood Artist Farmhouse, this is a truly special place to stay. Completely private and secluded, this was a week of pure relaxation in what felt like our very own retreat. The accommodation is highly equipped with no stone uncovered. The décor is very artistic – no deceiving in the title of the accommodation. The owner Delphine has a great eye for style and provides a very contemporary, relaxing environment. This is an Eco House so if you like “caring for the planet” this is most definitely for you. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival. We only left the suite a few times with a 30 minute walk to Brentwood village – a must visit. All in all, an amazing holiday that we would love to repeat. The worst part of the trip?
